Jo Ann is a retired Delta Air Lines Flight Attendant and a Licensed Interior Designer of her own firm, Interior Analysts, Inc . She is an Independent Nikken Consultant specializing in wellness.

A breast cancer survivor herself, Jo Ann won an award in 1997 in New Orleans as Best Breast Cancer Supporter. When living in New Orleans, she taught Interior Decorating at Delgado Community College and was on the board of East Jefferson Business Association and Louisiana Breast Cancer Task Force. She has also been an avid supporter and volunteer at the PBS affiliate in New Orleans, WYES-TV.

Throughout her career she has contributed numerous writings on interior design and motivational living to newspapers, magazines and organizational newsletters.

She has been married to Gary Godfrey since late 2005 and they currently reside in Fulshear, Texas.
